Presenter Hope Anderson will present her idea, Lesson Magic. Teachers are overwhelmed with lesson planning, classroom management, grading, dealing with parents, and required meetings and extra-curricular events. Good lesson planning takes time and often takes a backseat in the face of competing demands, especially as understaffing gets worse and teachers have more and larger classes. The result is teachers leaving the profession and kids being underprepared in key areas like world languages. My plan is to test out some MVPs over the next few months and get some early adopters who then help me talk their districts into subscribing to the service.
