A read aloud program designed to help women who have low literacy levels improve their vocabulary, comprehension and conversational skills. Reading books aloud is also a tool to encourage open minded discussions that will transfer into self confidence.

About the Presenter
Join us in-person at 808 Social Coffee Shop (8435 W Peoria Ave, Peoria, AZ 85345) or virtually via the local event platform, televëda (login instructions available upon registration).
Turning Pages is a read aloud program designed to help women who have low literacy levels improve their vocabulary, comprehension and conversational skills. Reading books aloud is also a tool to encourage open minded discussions that will transfer into self confidence. The program then encourage these women to read out loud to their own children to empower them to stop the cycle of illiteracy.
